A few weeks ago, my regular students in Brazil took part in the Painting Course at the Chateau de Beduer, Lot, France, tutored by Adam Cope. Although I was not going to take part in the course, I had been kindly invited by Adam to stay at the Chateau, so I would be able to practice some plein air painting by myself (if I wanted), enjoy regional food, meet Adam (!)…and spend a week with my wife in the Southwest of France. What can I say about this week now? It was a wonderful experience: I found a great spot to paint, excellent regional cuisine (Adam and his staff are superb), a complete quick immersion experience in French life, language, and culture. Adam is an experienced art instructor, my students loved his method and he is one of the finest human beings I have had the privilege of knowing, so…thanks Adam for everything, hope to visit you soon :-)!

Alguns dos meus alunos no Brasil participaram de um curso de pintura no Chateau de Beduer, Lot, França, algumas semanas atrás, curso este conduzido por Adam Cope.Embora eu não tenha participado específicamente do curso, fui gentilmente convidado por Adam para estar no Chateau durante esta semana, pois eu poderia praticar um pouco de pintura ao ar livre, caso desejasse, conhecer Adam (!)...e passar essa semana junto com minha esposa em uma região da França que não conhecíamos ainda. O que posso dizer sobre essa semana? Foi uma experiência fascinante: o local era maravilhoso para pintar, excelente cozinha regional (Adam e seu staff são ótimos), uma imersão rápida e completa no modo de vida francês, além de poder conhecer melhor a cultura e língua. Adam é um um experiente instrutor, meus alunos adoraram seu método e ele é um ser humano muito especial e me sinto feliz de tê-lo conhecido, então...obrigado Adam por tudo, espero visitar você muito em breve :-)!
