Fabio, your work is extraordinary and a great inspiration for me. I like the white space in one side too, thi's is a wonderful composition. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful watercolor!!!! How many hours or minutes did you spend on this? Your work is impressive, I wish we were hanging it in our house.I´like to know, yes...do you paint the background first?
Hi Fabio, what is amazing about your work is the flow and assurance of your brushstrokes, the punches of color and the economy of details....but the results is nonetheless amazing. Thanks for stopping by my blog and your comment.
Absolutely stunning. I love the values you've achieved in the poppies.Your work is one of the best flower compositions I've come across on the net. You've mastered watercolor, and I agree with Alvin, there's an economy of details but your work is full of emotion and life. Thanks for sharing, I've been following your work since the late 90's .You're an awesome artist!Take care.
Dear Jean, no. I paint the background and the flowers at the same time. But I start painting the background....my first washes are background colors. Thanks for stoping by, I 'll post a little demo in the next hours.

This is beautiful work, once again! I like the way you've put the flowers on one side, leaving the rest for the imagination to fill
