Hello Fabio, your watercolors are so wonderful, they give the viewer a lift in their emotions and feelings.

Hi Fabio, there's a geometrical concept here. Great piece.

Hello Fábio. I observed that there is not much pressing of the surface. It seems like you easily wash and re-apply colors on the surface. Other stunning watercolor, maybe a geometric, I'm not sure about this, but still transparent.Cool work again.

Hi Catherine, thank you. I'm glad you're posting words about inner feelings.

Hi Juan, Thanks! Yes, maybe it's geometric, but it's just a study, it's a quick watercolor. I've been painting gladiolos, pink, red, yellow, etc. This study is to understand the flower shapes, etc.

Hello Emmy, thanks for stoping by again! Yes...There's a correct pressing, how can I explain...you "touch" the paper, you don't press against the paper...And I re-apply just twice..it's the limit.

Fabio, congratulations, your work is fine. What kind of paper do you use?

Hi Bill, thanks for stoping by. Arches, Fabriano, Guarro, Hahnemuller. Montval for studies..like these gladiolos.

Hi Giovanna, thank you!

I love your gladiolos! I love the way they look a little geometrical, it gives them strength, and the colours make them delicate, so it's a very striking mixture of power and softness

I like the light being captured on the petals in this one, Fábio!

Showing depth with yellows can be challenging for me, but you pulled it off in this painting.

Good job!

You are a master at flower painting. I like the way you captured the light. It appears so brilliant. I also like the way you do your backgrounds. The add to the depth of the watercolor.

Hi Fabio, what a lovely new watercolor. Love the geometric approach. Great.

Hi Cathy, thanks again for your words!

Hi Dean..yes, I try not to paint with "yellow ochre" because it's opaque..I think this painting is not so transparent as I wanted...But it's the first one. I've been painting red, pink, white gladiolos. I'll post them later. Thanks for your opinion.

Hi Jean...thanks a lot! Yes, I think that a background can add depth and light (contrast). I work with the main subject and the backgroud at the same time. Thanks again for your words.

Hi Steven..thank you!Yes...geometric approach? Maybe, I don't know. Thanks again!

Hello, Pamella, thanks for stoping by.No, I don't like retard mediums. Watercolor paint dries fairly quickly..and, in my opinion, it's exciting. I work quickly. o you paint watercolors? Are you a painter?
