Hello Fabio, I like the two versions. Is the first one a study?I like your finished work, but some of your studies are very strong by themselves. You are such an absolute inspiration for me !
Cool landscapes! Fabio , I just wanted to leave a message saying that i think that you are fantastic for being a practicing artist that is willing to share your knowledge of painting with others.
I love visiting your blog, your images are so energetic. composition and design is so strong in the florals--something I think is quite a challenge with all the elements in a floral.
Fabulously done Fabio, love your trees even more than flowers. And thank you for your help, soon you can see on my blog how I played with my new toy.Have a great weekend,Aleksandra
Hi Fabio, wonderful paintings, you have an awesome technique! I feel redundant in my posts, but let's go: you have a beautiful color palette and each of them -your two landscapes- are gorgeous. I'd like to see more step by step posts or..have you ever thought about an online course? Thanks for sharing your art.
Hi Pam, thanks! Yes, but I've been learning lots of new tecniques with so many good artists.I enjoy following new blogs and watching their art journey too.
Hi Adam...thanks for visiting! Ok, they're similar. The first one is a brief study. I 've just added more details to number 2. Humm..no, it's not a typical Brazilian tree...we don't have leafless trees,I have a couple of reference photos..it's just a study. Thanks for your opinion!

ReplyDeleteBetween the two maybe there not a lot of difference other than working-process... where does 'truth' leave?
(the plein-airist expresses an opinion)
Does Brazil have a winter, a leafless season?
BTW Good choice for the colour in the air : cobalt violet!
Fábio!
ReplyDeleteI really like the faint trees in the left hand side of the background and the purples in the immediate right.
Very soft looking feel to this one.
